Nant y Bedd in Gardens Illustrated
Sue has finally achieved one of her biggest wishes – for the garden to appear in Gardens Illustrated magazine.
It started in March last year with an e-mail from the magazine requesting lush spring growth for the April 2022 edition. Lush spring growth, April and Nant y Bedd are not words that one would normally put together, being as we are 1200 ft up a Welsh mountain. However we found out who the photographer was to be and, after lots of liaising back and forth, Jason Ingram eventually came to shoot at the very end of May.
Then all went quiet until January when we learnt that Sarah Price had been asked to do the words, which was very reassuring as she understands the garden so well.
The on the last day of March this year the finished version dropped through the letterbox. Here it is, all 8 pages of it.
