Extra November workshop

Leaving an Imprint – Saturday 12th November
As our gardens slowly go to sleep, why not awaken your creativity and celebrate the rich colours and shapes that autumn brings us. Come away with a whole series of A4 & A3 sized prints and images made with leaves and elements from the garden.

Nant-y-Bedd will be our inspiration and source of colour, shape and texture. The workshop will lead you through different techniques: direct printing, monotype printing, rubbings, spray masking and collage. You’ll be shown different ways to combine these techniques to create multi layered images to capture the spirit of the season.
There’s no need for specific drawing skills – surprise yourself – enjoy the use of these direct methods with immediate results and the chance to experiment.
We are already pressing & compiling a ‘library of leaves’ for the course and those interested in attending will be invited to bring elements of their own gardens to work with if they wish.
Cost is £80 and includes lunch and all materials. Starts at 10 and finishes at 4.30. Places limited to 7. To book e-mail Sue at sue.mabberley@btconnect.com
