View from above

Regular readers may recall the recent visit we had from S4C’s Garddio a Mwy, gardening programme. If you have seen the programme, you’ll have seen some of the drone footage they took. Now, thanks to the lovely people at Clwydian Films and drone pilot and cameraman extraordinaire Richard Longstaff, we now have about 30 minutes of spectacular shots for our own use.

Here are just a few of them. We hope you enjoy these different views of Nant y Bedd.

From above the spooky forest below the potager.

Just goes to show how tall those old Christmas trees are!

A different perspective on the potager with presenter Sioned Edwards
Sioned crossing the bridge by the treehouse!
Our favourite; coming up the road through the mist.

This last clip gives such a wonderful view of how the garden melts into the landscape and the drone comes in over the new meadow and the pond – spot our little boat on the pond! – with the open hill in the background.

In many ways it was lucky that the weather was a bit damp as that last clip may not have been so atmospheric on a bright sunny day.

Once again many thanks to Copyright holders Richard Longstaff and Clwydian Films.
