Garddio a Mwy
Gardening and more in Saesneg. Two weeks ago on a somewhat dank and murky Monday morning we were pleased to welcome Sioned Edwards and the crew from S4C’s Garddio a Mwy weekly gardening programme.
Although the weather was unfortunately damp, the enthusiasm of Sioned shone through the murk as she strolled around the garden making the most of our naturalistic planting.
In addition, Richard Longstaff’s clever photography and use of an amazing drone have created a super view of Nant y Bedd in all it’s glory. We are really pleased!
Here are a few screenshots. We hope to have some of the drone footage in the near future and will post them. The programme – with sub-titles – is available on the S4C website. There are two sections featuring us adding up to around 9 minutes of joy!
…and of course Oreo had to get a walk on role! Shades of Alfred Hitchcock
Sioned then headed down to the pond to construct a fantastic flower arrangement composed entirely of plants collected a few minutes earlier around the garden.
Though they had to get back to North Wales, the team didn’t seem to want to leave at the end of filming and I’m sure we will see some of them here again at some point in the future.
