New arrivals
Just like London buses, you wait for ages then two come at once. But no apologies for adding a second blog post today as I’ve finally managed to get a photo of our latest livestock – three fluffy ducklings which were born last Thursday. Although Maisie Duck was sitting on seven eggs, only three hatched, but they look great. Let’s hope that manage to stay fit and well and grow into a second “slug patrol” for the other side of the road. Dad, Charlie Drake, seems to be well pleased with himself, so maybe he’ll now stop chasing us around the garden and concentrate on looking after the young ones.
